Ch. Floresta's Amber Wave
Amber quickly finished her championship and grand championship with UKC picking up a reserve Best In Show at 16months and then retired to our farm. She is an athletically powerful dogue with incredible reach and drive. For a short period we entertained the agility field which she handled with ease. On the first night she mastered every obstacle with incredible grace and poise, especially for her 110 pound frame. It certainly gave the border collie owners something to talk about, and quieted the doubts they had when we started.
At two years of age she had passed all health certifications and was awarded the first Excellent hip rating from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Her litter sister was also awarded the second ever Exellent rating for hips much later at 56 months. Soundness was a hallmark of her litter with her brother achieving and OFA Good rating for his hip evaluation as well as a better than perfect Penn Hip score of .29/.29 with no DJD.
We are truly proud of this landmark health achievement and continue to strive for excellence in every dogue we produce.
